I have to say a HUGE thanks to the staff for allowing me to ride this today as the section where this elevator is located in the museum was actually closed off today. This was a fun elevator to ride! I'm so glad I got to ride it a couple of times :) Neat Museum to visit if you are ever in Boone, NC. For more info on The Turchin Center, check out their website at www.turchincenter.org The elevator's weight capacity is 15000 lbs. I'm not sure what brand but I'm guessing it might be an Otis as that is what is in the other building at the museum but I could be mistaken.
